5. Production Planning

Module Overview

Production Planning is where the production process is defined before anything is built. You set up the process steps, the products, the assembly lines and machines, and then plan the working shifts on a calendar.

5.1 Production Step Master

• View all production steps defined in the system and whether each is a machine or manual step.

5.2 Process Steps

• Maintain the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for each production step.

5.3 Product Management

• Maintain the products manufactured on the line, with their part numbers and descriptions.

5.4 Assembly Line Planning

• Create, view, edit or delete the assembly lines used in production.

5.5 Machines

• View the machines on the assembly line and whether each one is currently online.

5.6 Physical Assembly Line

• View each physical assembly line in real time, with its machines and their online status.

5.7 Schedule Planning

• Plan and view production shifts, downtime and tasks on a calendar.
